Background
Danske Bank is one of the biggest banks in the Nordics, providing services and digital solutions to both private and business customers. In the business sector, Danske Bank developed a digital solution called District, to serve all its customers.
2018
Problem
For companies in Denmark that have financial dealing across country borders, it is important to understand and calculate the potential risks and benefits of the flux in exchange rates between the home currency and currencies abroad. Spending capital can flux based on the wave of the exchange rates and can impact decisions on distribution of capital across countries.
I was tasked to design a module on the business solution platform District that would allow customers to forecast the currency exposure and risk.
Process
To get a deep understanding of the workflows and pain point for the potential users of this specialist functionality I visited 3 Treasurers of medium and big sized companies in Copenhagen to learn about their approach to this task.
Design
An important feature of this module is of course to make a grid that enables the user to enter and edit all numbers required.
